GPSC Recruitment 2025: The Gujrat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is recruiting desirioud and hardworking candidates for Agriculture Officer, Class – II, under Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-Operation Department. According to the official notification, there are 40 open positions available that have to be filled by eligible candidates. After the selection, candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 39,900 and Rs. 1,26,600, according to the Pay Matrix Level-07. The Maximum Age limit to the selected candidates is 35 years. Candidates more than 35 years old will not be eligible for the GPSC Recruitment 2025. But in some cases, candidates will also get an age relaxation benefit that will vary on the candidate’s category and the GPSC Recruitment 2025 Rules. Application Fee for the GPSC Recruitment 2025:-

General or Unreserved Category Candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 500/-, while all other category candidates, including women candidates of all categories, socially and educationally backward classes, scheduled castes, scheduled Tribes, economically weaker sections, Physically disabled candidates and ex-servicemen. will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 400/-.

The Gujrat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is hiring candidates for the 40 open positions of Agriculture Officer, Class – II, under Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-Operation Department.

GPSC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:-

The Following Eligibility Criteria is required for the GPSC Recruitment 2025-

Educational Qualification:

• possess a bachelor’s degree in Science(Agriculture) obtained from any of the Agricultural Universities incorporated or established by or under the Central Agriculture Universities Act or a State Agriculture Universities Act in India.
• Possesses the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
• Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit: The maximum upper age limit for all category candidates is 35 years. In some cases, candidates also get the benefit of age relaxation.

Age Relxation:

• Women Candidates (Gujrat, Unreserved): 5 Years 
• EWS, SEBC, SC, ST Category Candidates (Gujrat): 5 Years 
• Women EWS, SEBC, SC, ST Category Candidates (Gujrat): 10 Years 
• Ex. Serviceman Including E.C.O. / S.C.O: Length of Military Service plus three years
• Physically Disabled: 10 Years

Selection Mode for GPSC Recruitment 2025:-

After submitting the application form for the GPSC Recruitment 2025, candidates will be invited to participate in the Preliminary test. The Preliminary test will consist of a total of 300 questions, with 100 questions worth 100 marks in General Studies and 200 questions worth 200 marks in the respective subject. The duration for the General Studies (Part 1) will be 60 minutes, while the respective subject (Part 2) will have a duration of 120 minutes. The total marks for the Preliminary test will be 300. After the Preliminary test, an interview will be organised to shortlist eligible candidates for the designated role.
