DRRMLIMS Recruitment 2025: Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (DRRMLIMS) is inviting candidates to submit their online applications for the post of Professors in various Departments.  There are a total of 36 posts available for the Professor posts. The official notification for the DRRMLIMS Professors Recruitment 2025 was released on 24 February 2025, while the online application submission was started on 28 February 2025. The last date to submit the online application form is 30 March 2025.

The selected candidates will be placed on the Assistant Professors post for the 3 years of continuous regular service in the Institute, further, it will be extended based on the candidate’s performance. The candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by the Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (DRRMLIMS). There is no upper age limit for the post of Professors; however, the age of superannuation is 65 years, and for both Assistant Professor and Associate Professor posts, it is 50 years as of the last date of application.

All the interested candidates are required to pay the application fee to apply online for the DRRMLIMS Recruitment 2025, which is Rs.6000 + 18% GST for UR/OBC candidates,  Rs.3500 + 18% GST for SC/ST/EWS/PwBD candidates and US$ 100.00 or equivalent in Indian Rupees for overseas candidates.

DRRMLIMS Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:-

As per the official notification, some eligibility criteria are required for the post of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, which are given below.

Educational Qualification:

• As per NMC, Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022, dated 14/02/2022 (Notified 22/02/2022) and as per other relevant NMC/erstwhile MCI norms, as amended from time to time and in force as on the cut-off date of determining eligibility against this advertisement. Evidence of BCBR and BCMET Course completion is a must for applicants for Associate Professor and Professor Posts as of the cut-off date for determining eligibility. 
• For vacancies in Medical Oncology, candidates with DM/DrNB in Pediatric Oncology can also apply if they satisfy the other eligibility criteria as per the advertisement.

Experience:

• Experience: A total of 14, 06 and 03 years of teaching experience in the subject of specialty, applied for, at NMC/erstwhile MCI permitted/approved/recognized medical college/institution, after the prescribed MD/MS/DNB/PhD degree for the posts of Professors, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor respectively, as on the last date for submission of applications. Provided further that –

1. For the post of Assistant Professor, the experience should be as Senior Resident/Lecturer/Assistant Professor.
2. Tutor experience shall be counted only for non-medical candidates after obtaining a PhD.
3. For the post of Associate Professor, the total experience (6 years) must include at least 3 years as Assistant Professor.
4. For the post of Professor, the total experience (14 years) must include at least 3 years as Associate Professor.
5. For applicants who had joined on first faculty post (Assistant Professor/Lecturer) after 08 June 2017, the experience must include at least 1-year Senior Residency in the concerned subject [Ref: Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions (Amendment) Regulations, 2017, dated: 05/06/2017, notified 08/06/2017]. 

Medical Registration: Candidates must be registered for all their medical qualifications in a State Medical Register or National Medical Register (MCI/NMC), except in the case of teachers with non-medical qualifications. On selection, they shall be required to be registered for all their medical qualifications with the Medical Council, Uttar Pradesh or National Medical Commission at the time of joining.

Age Limit: No upper age limit for the post of Professors; however, the age of superannuation shall be 65 years; 50 years as on the last date of application for both Assistant Professor and Associate Professor posts. Age relaxation shall be applicable as notified by the State (UP) Government from time to time.
