The government of Maharashtra has released a new update related to the last date of Mazi Ladki Behna Yojana 2024, according to this update, women can apply till the end of September.

On 28th June 2024, the honourable finance minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar announced a new beneficial scheme for women, named CM Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2024 during the presentation of State Financial Budget 2024-25. Two days after the announcement, on 1st July 2024, the CM of Maharashtra State invited all women to apply online or offline for the scheme. Also, the Government of Maharashtra has announced 31st August as the last date for the scheme. But, after seeing the interest of women in the scheme, the government has decided to continue the application process till the end of September.

The government of Maharashtra has given full responsibility to the Women and Child Development Department to find out all eligible Beneficiaries. The Government of Maharashtra has prescribed some eligibility criteria for the Ladki Bahin Yojana which have to be fulfilled given below –

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
• Applicant must be aged between 21 to 65 years old.
• Applicant must not be taking benefits of any other Pension Scheme.
• Applicant’s Family income should not be greater than 2.5 lacs per annum.
